Collective security
The safety net
Our projects' unique characteristic of collective security has the end-goal of building a network of trust, a place to go when dealing with doubts, fears and uncertainties in the crypto world. The Wallet Warden team would never allow hate towards or bad labelling of other communities or projects, but would not fear to expose scammers and warn good-will users about their practices.
The collective security approach works hand in hand with our proactive mindset, opening our community new ways of identifying and avoiding malicious actions. For example, when a legitimate, non-technical user finds a shady address, practice or website, or is constantly contacted by parties promising huge, quick returns for nothing, they can report the entity and it's doings in our platform and other users will assessing their findings and verify the facts. If the community reaches a consensus that this issue should be flagged as a scam or an attempt to steal someone's legit funds through a hack, the report will be uploaded intro our database and users warned every time they'll encounter the address or entity. On the other hand, more technical, technology-aware people could report software issues found that might affect others.
The sustainable part in all this dynamic is that both sides of the community will be incentivised to take part in both reporting and fact-checking and be rewarded by their actions.
